Margaret T. Anderson DeLieto died Thursday, December 29, 2011 at St. Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was 93. Born in Jersey City, she resided in Lyndhurst for 55 years before moving to East Brunswick in 2000. She most recently resided in Monroe Township for the past 3 years. Prior to retiring in 1978, she was a fabric worker for Advanced Piece & Dye Works, East Rutherford, where she worked for 15 years. Prior to that, she was employed by RCA, Harrison. Even though it was difficult for her to attend Mass, Mrs. DeLieto was one of St. Catherine's people! She was an avid bingo player, as well as a member of the East Brunswick Senior Citizens.
She was predeceased by her husband Alphonse DeLieto in 1996 and her brother William Anderson. Surviving are her daughter Geraldine Kernaghan and her husband John of Gold Canyon, AZ; a son Al and his wife Arlene of Spotswood; 5 grandchildren: Lisa Rachinsky, Cynthia Hopkins, Andrea Sierra, Cheryll DeLieto, and Alan DeLieto and his wife Ashley; 6 great granddaughters and 5 great grandsons.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, 9:30 AM, in The Brunswick Memorial Home, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a 10:15 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood.
