Arthur Bryant Malone

AGE: 67 • South Bound Brook

Arthur Bryant Malone, 67, died Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at St. Peter's Medical Center, New Brunswick. Born in New Brunswick he was the son of the late Philip and Martha (Slater) Malone. Mr. Malone served in the US Navy from 1966-1969 as an Electronic Technician aboard the USS Ingersoll. He was an Electronics Technician and worked for Lightening Delivery, Robbinsville, NJ. A lifelong resident of South Bound Brook, he was very active in the community. He was a member of the American Legion Post #12, Benevolent Order of the Elks, Loyal Order of Moose, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Somerset County Fire Chiefs, the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, and the South Bound Brook Fire Company #1 for more than 40 years, serving as Chief in 1981.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Daniel, Richard, and Kenneth Malone and his sister, Barbara Rabbitz. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann, and his children, Bryant, Jennie and Cynthia Malone, his brothers, Philip, Roger, Thomas and Mark and his sisters, Patricia Ostapovich, Elaine Harvat, Kathleen Morrison, Janet Malone, and Roberta Bock, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 9, at Hagan - Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Ave., Bound Brook, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mercy Church, South Bound Brook. Burial is at Bound Brook Cemetery.
