Stuart Eadie, 89, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2012. Stuart was born to Carrie Louise Bell and Erskine Eadie in Morristown, NJ. He had two siblings, Donald Eadie, who predeceased him and a younger sister, Jeanne Carmichael (Manhattan, NY). Stuart attended Morristown public schools. He married Jacqueline Schoenly on August 6, 1944. Stuart served in the Navy from 1943 to 1946. In April of 1955, he became an Auxiliary of the USAF's Civil Air Patrol and was awarded an aeronautical rating of pilot. He attended Rutgers University, graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. In 1950, Stuart accepted a position at the A.C. Nielsen Company in Chicago. He worked in the Retail Index Division, the Field Department, and the Client Service Department, was promoted to Account Executive, and on Feb 10, 1969, to Vice President. He retired in 1983.

Stuart and Jackie have three children: Karen Eadie Altman (husband: Ross) of Newtown, PA; Pamela Eadie Maynard (husband: Steve) of East Hampton, CT; and Douglas Eadie (wife Patricia) of Mount Laurel, NJ. They have 9 grandchildren, Alison and Gregory Altman, Alexander, Patrick, Geoffrey, Jacqueline and Daniel Maynard, Erin and Kevin Eadie and two great-grandchildren. Stuart's life priority was always his family. He was a devoted son, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was and will always be greatly loved.

A graveside service is scheduled for Friday, July 27, at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, Morristown, NJ. Arrangements are being made by Rowe-Lanterman Home for Funerals, 71 Washington Street, Morristown, NJ.
