Diane Messinger Obituary
AGE: 69 • Ocean Township
Diane E. Messinger, 69, of Ocean Township, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she was born in Rothesay Bute, Scotland and lived in Canada, Bronx, NY, West Long Branch, Rumson, and Long Branch before moving to Ocean Township 7 years ago. She was a registered nurse, starting at Mount Sinai Hospital in NY, and homemaker.
She was predeceased by her parents, Hugh and May Malcolm. Surviving are her husband, Jonathan J. Messinger; her children, Dennis Wholey and his wife Jackie of Coral Springs, FL, Scott Wholey of Tampa, FL, Kim Whipple of Michigan, Debby Carasia and her husband Robert of Oakhurst, and Sarah Sharp and her husband Evan of Ocean; brother, Bruce Malcolm and his wife Linda of New Windsor, NY; 11 grandchildren, Emily, Sophie, Juliann, Michael, Sean, Chris, Heather, Andrea, Jonathan, Jimmy and Clark; and 2 great-grandchildren, Tyler and Dominick.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Burial will follow at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport. Please visit www.fiorefuneralhomes.com.
