Robert J. Hough (Bobby), 75, The Villages, FL (formerly of Jackson, NJ) died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012. Robert was born in Manhattan, NY on April 1, 1937 to Edwin and Irene (Phalen) Hough. Robert served in the USMC from 1954-1957 and was a Stationery Engineer in NYC for over 40 years. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus and the Knights of the "Unstable Table" and was affectionately known as "mumbles". He was a coach of Holbrook Little League, Jackson, NJ for many years and was one of the cofounders of the Jackson Golf Club in 1974, meeting in member's homes to start the club that is still active today.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ann (Salle) Hough; children, Robert of Seaside, NJ; Richard and Kim of Jackson, NJ; Robin and Lindoro Carfora of Jackson, NJ; grandchildren Michael Carfora, Kevin Hough, Brianna Hough, Samantha Carfora, Melanie Hough and Nicholas Hough; brothers, Gary and Florence Hough, Wilmington, NC; William and Janice Hough, Lumberton, NC; Edwin and Gayetta Hough, Camphill, PA; brother-in-law, Louis Salle, Hudson, FL and several nieces and nephews.
Bobby, as he was known, was an avid golfer and loved the sunshine. He will be missed by all.
