Suzanne M. Buck

AGE: 49 • Hazlet

Suzanne M. Buck, 49, of Hazlet, passed away Thursday, December 13 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She was born in Newark, NJ and grew up in Belford. Suzanne worked for the Arc of Monmouth at the Work Opportunity Center where she packaged hospital kits and other items. She was a member of the Keansburg Keglers and was a huge supporter of the Yankees. Her greatest loves, to those that knew her, were pillows, punch balloons, meat and potatoes, wine and beer, men, and power tools. Sue was beloved by many and will be greatly missed.

Surviving are her two sisters, Maryanne and her husband Scott Motherway of Manalapan, and Maureen Connors of Hazlet; her fiancé, Donald Lamp of Hazlet; her nephews and niece, Brandon Motherway, Kaylee Connors, and Ryan Connors; and her aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Carol Ann Buck, and her brother-in-law, Michael Connors.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 16 from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm at the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, December 17 at 9:30 am at the funeral home. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered Monday, December 17 at 10:30 am at St. Mary's Chapel, 26 Leonardville Rd., Middletown. Burial will follow at Bay View Cemetery, Leonardo.

In lieu of flowers donations are encouraged and greatly appreciated to be made in Sue's memory to the Arc of Monmouth, especially to the WOC in Long Branch where Sue worked that was damaged from Hurricane Sandy and is still not able to operate out of its normal site.
