Norma Chillemi Obituary
AGE: 69 • Toms River
Norma M. Chillemi, 69, of Toms River, passed on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, peacefully surrounded by her family. Born in Newark, she moved to Lakewood in 1955 and Toms River 45 years ago. Norma was a loving and caring person, a wonderful mother, grandmother and sister, despite her physical challenges her heroic spirit prevailed. She will be missed by all who knew her and touched many lives.
Norma is predeceased by her son, Paul Puccerella Jr., who passed in 2005; and her brothers, Victor Jr., Michael and Brian Chillemi. She is survived by her daughter, Victoria G. and her husband Francis D. Cicala; her companion of 30 years, Howard F. Scott Jr.; her ex-husband, Paul P. Puccerella; her grandchildren, Danielle N., Francis D. Cicala Jr., and Keyra Mai; four great-grandchildren. Norma is also survived by three brothers, Robert, William and Gary Chillemi; and her seven sisters, Frances Comar, Carol Castagna, Susan Chillemi, Denise Lance, Angela Chillemi, Patricia Colasurdo and Pamela Chillemi.
Visiting will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8 at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Road, Toms River. Funeral Saturday, Feb. 9; arrive at the funeral home 8:15 a.m. Funeral Mass to follow 9:15 a.m. at St. Luke's R.C. Church, Toms River. Cremation private.
