Josephine (Fiorino) Giorgianni died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013 at her home in North Brunswick. She was 94. Born in Dayton, Pennsylvania she was raised in Italy and lived in New Brunswick before moving to North Brunswick 67 years ago. She was a seamstress at Bond Clothing Company in New Brunswick for 25 years before her retirement. Mrs. Giorgianni was a communicant of St. Mary of Mt. Virgin RC Church in New Brunswick. She was a member of the North Brunswick Italian American Club Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed winters in Florida with her friends and family, she loved gardening and cooking and enjoyed life to the fullest.

She was predeceased by her husband, Nicholas Giorgianni in 2008. She was also predeceased by three brothers, Peppino, Santo and Frank Fiorino; two sisters, Angela Certo and Petronilla Certo; a sister-in-law, Lina Fiorino and three brothers-in-law, Peter Certo, Nino Nastasi and Saro Certo. Surviving are two daughters, Maryann Giorgianni of North Brunswick and Angela Duris and her husband John, of North Brunswick; a son, Joseph Giorgianni and his wife Elizabeth of North Brunswick; her sister, Nina Nastasi of Italy; a sister-in-law, Catherine Fiorino of Highland Park; three grandchildren, Joseph Giorgianni and his wife Karen, Elizabeth Gosner and her husband Joseph and John A. Duris; four great grandchildren, Kyle and Joseph Gosner and Nicholas and Anthony Giorgianni; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 9:15 AM Monday from Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick, followed by a 10:00 AM Mass at St. Mary of Mt. Virgin Church in New Brunswick. Entombment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home Sunday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.
