Everyone who lives is wonderful but some are more wonderful than others. Everyone is unique but some are more unique than others. Some have a sense of humor and others have a super sharp sense of humor. Marjorie, Marjorie, Marjorie, how I will miss the uniqueness that is you. There was always something very special in everything that was you and there will always be a smile on my face when I think of you. No matter what was going on, you always seem to take it in your stride. Just like water rolls down a duck's back it just didn't seem to ruffle your feathers. You would never let it show. These last couple of years have been a godsend to me. They've given me the pleasure of your company. And I am grateful to have shared some time with you. I came to understand how very wise you are and appreciate the depth of your understanding.
Everyone wishes to have quality time in their life. I can think of so many people who have spent their lives and have not achieved anything near the quality of life that I've seen in you. The devotion and love I've seen from your family shows me how well you lived your life. Your devotion to Dick in his illness and how wonderfully you went places and did things together during that hardship time was a lesson in how to live life to the fullest. To enjoy and to be gracious as you have since his passing is a compliment to him and to you and to your family as well. It is always my dream that I and my staff can bring compassion, quality and richness to a person's life. If we can bring them laughter we've done good and if to independence than we've done well. Most of that depends upon the grace of God and the grits, determination and courage of the person. We need persons like you Marjorie with the spirit to work hard to recover who want to live with quality in their life and you did that God blessed me by putting you in my life and I am forever grateful that you've were there for me.
It's not for us to know why people come into our lives at certain times. It's not for us to question the why and when of it. It just is. There is a reason for it, a good reason and though we would all wish most likely to have our beloved Marjorie with us for a longer time and to enjoy her company and laugh with her, it was not to be. She lived her life her way; her way was the best way for her. All those beloved cats and kittens that she cared for over the years will greet her at the gate and purr for her. I will fondly remember you always Marjorie , God bless you, God bless your wonderful family, my sympathy to all.
Look down on us and let us know you are still watching over us. Thank you for your life Marjorie, thank you for your presence, and the present of you. Farewell my friend,
God speed,
Beverly
