Robert M. Tynski passed into eternal life on July 30, 2013 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. The son of the late Wanda and Stanley. Bob was born on December 18, 1930.
Bob served his country in the Marines, First Battalion 10th Marines during the Korean War, 1950-1953.
Bob worked as a Mailman in Toms River before owning the Bay Berry Motel Jewelry and Gift Shop before retiring and selling the business in 1996.
He loved Lavallette and served on the Lavallette Board of Adjustment and the Lavallette School Board. A member of the Lavallette voters and tax payers as well as a lifelong member of the Seaside Chapter of Deborah. Bob sought to protect the Jersey Shore and was an active environmentalist.
Bob had a deep devotion to God as a practicing Roman Catholic manifesting his belief in God through his worship at St. Bonaventure's Church, Lavallette, now known as St. Pio of Pietrelcina Roman Catholic Church as a fifty year member and past president of the Holy Name Society . He was a member of the Knights of Columbus # 8415- Rev Monsignor John F. Baldwin council 4th Degree.
Bob leaves behind his loving and devoted wife Florence together they celebrated their 58th Wedding Anniversary on July 28, 2013, and a loving son, Rev. Robert M. Tynski. His affable smile and warm personality will make him missed by many cherished relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends on Friday 2-4 & 7-9pm at The Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 995 Fischer Blvd. Toms River, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday 10am at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Roman Catholic Church, Lavallette, NJ. Burial will follow to St. Catherine's Cemetery, Spring Lake , NJ.
