Gregory Farano Obituary
AGE: 45 • Iselin
Gregory Farano passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at his home in the Iselin section of Woodbridge Township. He was 45 years old.
Born in Rahway, he was a lifelong resident of Iselin.
Mr. Farano was employed as a driver with Woodbridge Checker Taxi for many years; and loved to cook. He was also lead singer in many bands in the Middlesex county area including Floor 13, Alchemist and Noise Faktor.
Surviving are his parents, Delorita Pascoal Farano of Iselin and Michael Farano, Sr. of Toms River; a sister, Diane Hann, of Bartlett, TN; two brothers, Michael Farano, Jr. of Edison and Gary Farano of Iselin; and nieces and nephews, Michael Charles Farano, Nicole Thomas, Brian Hann, Thomas Hann, Branden Farano and Aidan Farano.
Visitation will be on Sunday, September 8, 2013 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home (www.costello-greiner.com), 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge.
Memorial contributions may be made to Woodbridge Animal Shelter, c/o Woodbridge Animal Control, 2 George Frederick Plaza, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.

I was so upset when I heard of Greg's passing. He was a kind soul and always friendly with everyone he met. My husband, son and I are disabled and in the kindness of his heart he came to our home and helped me with work I couldn't possibly do myself. I was so grateful for his help. We had plans on finishing the garden my dad and I started before my dads passing. I will miss seeing you Greg at my house and at Jess and Billy's house. You were always upbeat and friendly to all. I pray God sees the kind soul you have been and takes you to His kingdom and you will find peace and happiness in heaven. I will forever miss you. Anne Martin
