Megan Hessinger Waldron, 51, passed away at home on Nov. 22, 2013, surrounded by her family. Megan grew up in Holmdel and raised her children in Keyport. She is a graduate of Holmdel High School and received her LPN License from Monmouth Vocational. She worked for many years at Bayshore Community Hospital.
Megan was a loving mother who put her family before all else. Megan will be remembered as a beautiful soul with a huge sense of humor and fighting spirit. She was very involved with Girl Scouts throughout her life as a participant as well as a leader. Megan worked to instill the values she learned as a Girl Scout in her children, especially her love of camp songs!
Megan is survived by her beloved children: Kaes, Aaron and Caileen. Also surviving are her Mother, Virginia Hessinger and siblings: Michelle Sarama and brother-in-law Bill, Ken Hessinger and sister-in-law Pat, Drew Hessinger and sister-in-law Kathy, Kathy Hessinger, Robert Hessinger and sister-in-law Mary as well as loving nieces, nephews and a host of long-time friends. Megan was predeceased by her Father, John Hessinger.
