AGE: 61 • Toms River
Susan Chillemi, 61, of Toms River, passed away peacefully at home with her loving companion, Frank Ingata Jr. by her side, on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013. Susan is remembered for her loving kindness, compassionate heart & generous spirit. She lived her life graciously while always maintaining her strong independence. She was so grateful and appreciated all the loved ones in her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, as she touched so many with her thoughtful & caring ways.
Susan is predeceased by her parents, Victor & Angela Chillemi; her sister, Norma Chillemi; brothers, Victor Jr., Brian & Michael Chillemi. She is survived by her loving, longtime companion of 41 years, Frank Ingata Jr. Susan is also survived by her three brothers, Robert, William and Gary Chillemi; her six sisters, Frances Comar, Carol Castagna, Denise Lance, Angela Chillemi, Pamela Chillemi & Patricia Colasurdo, her many loving nieces & nephews. Frank's two sisters, Arlene McEwan & family, Carol Poll & family; and her loving aides & friends who made her life comfortable and more joyful, Blanche McConnell, Marziya Khabiri, Margaret Prokop, Roxanne Viteo, Gabriela Martinez & Melissa Jurick.
Visiting will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, with funeral services at 7 p.m. at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Road, Toms River. Cremation private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Caffarelli Family Study Research Foundation Inc., 112 Mapletree Road, Toms River, NJ 08753. www.silvertonmemorial.com

It is with sorrow that I learned of Susan's passing. Although we didn't work together, I knew her as a kind, beautiful, intelligent and sweet person and always had a smile whenever I saw her. She left many fond memories to those who knew her. May she rest in peace.

I remember when Frank told me he wanted me to see the girl he was going to spend the rest of his life with. We went over to Brick and I believe it was "Two Guys" at the time where you worked.I saw one of the most beautiful people on the planet. I worked in the same Intake Unit at the Board of Social Services as Susan many years ago but I do remember her as an outstanding professional. Taken too soon. My condolences to the family.
