George Keppler Obituary
AGE: 87 • Whiting
George F. Keppler, age 87, of Pine Ridge South, Whiting, passed from this life on Tuesday, November 10, 2015. Born in Lakewood, he was a lifetime resident of Toms River before moving to Whiting in 2003. George was a member of the US Army for four years and fought in the Korean War. He was a self-employed civil engineer and land surveyor for over 50 years. He enjoyed self-study of Theology and was a talented sketch and water color artist.
Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Muriel (nee Smith); his daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Michael Reeves; his son and daughter-in-law, William and Kathleen Keppler and his son Gary Keppler, all of Beachwood. Also surviving are six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be private.
