Bertram D. Pitcher

AGE: 93 • Freehold

Bertram D. Pitcher, 93, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. Bertram was predeceased by his beloved wife, Doris Pitcher, and his loving sister Mary Pitcher.

He loved spending time with friends and family; whether watching a Yankees game, taking a drive, having a meal, or simply visiting with family and friends. Bertram was a proud WWII veteran who was born in and lived his entire life in Freehold.

Bertram is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Lillian Briggs, his sister-in-law, Marion Briggs, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to gather at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 E. Main St., Freehold, on Sunday, April 9th from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. There will be a graveside service on Monday at 11 AM, followed by burial at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
