Dawna Colbert Obituary

The beloved and beautiful soul of Dawna 'Donna' Jean Colbert, was born on October 21, 1958, in Neptune, New Jersey, took her last breath with us Friday evening May 26, 2017. She is the eldest of three children born to the late George C. Colbert and Ruby Jean (Hill) Colbert.
Dawna was preceded in death by her father, George C. Colbert and brother, Michael Colbert. Left to cherish her memories are a beautiful devoted daughter Daria L (James) Carter Freehold, NJ; her mother Ruby Jean (Hill) Colbert Freehold, NJ; sister Audrey L. (Brian) Evans; brother Herman A. (Rachel) Colbert, eight nieces and nephews aka "The Bubbas" Jared, Alex, Khalayah, Alexis, Jada, Jasmine, Herman Jr., Mikayla. Dawna's love of her life and desire to live longer were for her precious grandchildren Kimora Syrai (12), DeKari "DJ"(9), and Layla (5). Also cherishing her memories are her godmother Lucy (Rev. Gerald) Schenck, along with a massive host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
