Henry Scrogin Obituary
Henry W. Scrogin, 86, of Gridley and Live Oak, CA, passed away on October 18, 2015. A lifelong Yuba-Sutter resident born on July 13, 1929 in Live Oak.
Henry was a maintenance supervisor for Live Oak Unified School District for 28 years. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a volunteer for the Live Oak Fire Department and a member of the Live Oak Lions.
Survivors include his wife Darline Scrogin of Gridley, his sons Garrot Scrogin of Live Oak, Richard Scrogin (Dani Rogers) of Chester, CA, and David (Cindy) Scrogin of Gridley; his grandchildren Melissa Hernandez of Yuba City, CA, Amanda (Joseph) Meyers of Murrieta, CA, Jessica Scrogin of Susanville, CA, Samantha Scrogin of Chico, CA, and J. D. Scrogin of Live Oak, CA; his great-grandchildren Ricky Botello of Yuba City, CA, Olivia Meyers of Murrieta, CA, Ryleigh Hernandez of Yuba City, CA, Annica Scrogin of Susanville, CA; his brother Willard (Jennifer) Scrogin of Live Oak, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his son Kendall Scrogin.
Memorial services will be conducted on Friday, October 23, 2015, at 10:00 AM at the Ullrey Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Sutter North Hospice or a charity of your choice.
