Kris Pierce Obituary

52, of Seguin, TX, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2014.

Kris was born at UCLA Hospital, Los Angeles, California to Gerald and Mary Jeanette Pierce on March 19, 1962. He went to school in Thousand Oaks, California, Coos Bay, Oregon and Live Oak, California; graduating at Live Oak High School. He married Shannon Howard in January 1988 in Live Oak. He worked as a trucker for Reno Rendering in Reno, Nevada for a number of years. He served in the Marine Corps upon graduating from high school.

Kris is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Ovie and Allie Landreth and George and Viola Pierce.

He is survived by Shannon; son, Joshua Orrin and daughter Sheena Marie; his brother Jason Pierce of Marion, Texas; his parents, Gerald and Mary Jeanette Pierce of Marion; his sister-in-law Christine; and nephews, Devon and Derek.

A Private Service will be held at a later date.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Guadalupe County Emergency and the Sheriffs who attended, and last but not least to Palmer Mortuary.
