Fox, Harrison Mansfield*  
Harrison (Harry) Mansfield Fox, 86, is continuing on his journey with God. He was born February 17, 1930 in Danvers, MA and passed on May 2, 2016. Harry graduated from Holten High School and entered the Air Force in 1949. He was assigned in various electronic specialties. He worked as a broadcast engineer in Newfoundland, Canada at CFSN TV in Stephensville. He was a station engineer and staff announcer at KAFM in Salina, Kansas for several years. In his last five years in the USAF, he was active in evaluating and maintaining the MRS system on the SR 71 aircraft. Upon his retirement, he was a high ranking non-commissioned officer in charge of the maintenance and analysis of the MRS system product. He was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal with an Oak Leaf Cluster for his work. After his retirement from the Air Force, he was active in the office machine sales as sales and service manager for Feather Office Machines and Mid Valley Office Machines. He owned his own business for several years and closed it finally at the age of 81. Harry spent most of his life active in the Episcopal Church in Northern California and helped to develop Lay Minister training manuals that are in use throughout the country. He also organized and participated in lay ministry seminars in Northern California. He was active in ministry at St. John's Church in Marysville. He was active in the governance of the Episcopal Diocese of Northern California, having served on the Council, the Standing Committee, and the Commission on Ministry. He was co-founder of the Lay Ministry Committee and was active until his death. Harry was active for many years in the Buttes Area Boy Scouts Council serving as a Commissioner for the Golden Arrow District. He was also involved in the Pop Warner football program. Harry was a great fan of Oktoberfest and organized a number of them for St. John's church to benefit various community projects. He was predeceased by his parents, Carl and Margret Fox of Salisbury, MA; his sister Shirley Waldron of Salem, MA; son Erick of Yuba City, CA; daughter Tania of Browns Valley and granddaughter Carly, both of Browns Valley, CA. He will be sorely missed by his wife of 43 years, Janice; his children Karen, Carl and Sonya, Lesa, Saria and Brent, Hans and Kelley, Greg and Linda, and Sue; grandchildren Katie and Garrett, Erick and Mandy, Marina, Chelsea, Hannah, Hans II, Colby and Jessica, Emily, Travis, Sadie, Ellie, James, Ashley; and great-grandchildren Kali, Madison, Michael, Tanisa, Levi, Jacob, Mandie, Mason, Elvis, Ezekiel, and LJ. Services will be held at St. John's Episcopal Church of Marysville on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 10:00 am. Memorials and rememberances can be made to St. John's Food Shelf. Farmer, Ruth*  
Ruth Farmer passed away on April 24th, 2016. She was born Emma Ruth Rachel Fairey on February 11, 1922 in Floydada, Texas. She was the fifth child in a family of eight and was the last surviving sibling. Her family moved to the Rio Oso area in 1936 from Plainview, Texas. She was a resident of Wheatland since 1955. She married the love of her life, George, on December 31, 1939. She is survived by her daughters Jennifer Lannom of Reno, Susan Tatarazuk of Marysville, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband George, son David, and grandson Jason Acuff. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 30th at the First Christian Church in Wheatland at 11:00 A.M. with refreshments afterward.
