Carol Boulanger- Morris

Carol Boulange -Morris, 81, of Rio Oso, CA, left us April 23, 2014. Born to Carl and Vivian Nelson, Carol grew up in Rio Oso and graduated from E. Nicholas High in 1950.

She attended nursing school in Sacramento and attained her RN degree. Carol was a dedicated nurse, and worked at Rideout Hospital in Marysville and in private practice for 35 years.

Carol was a vivacious, fun-loving person who was devoted to her family. She had many friends, loved to dance and kept a positive outlook on life. She was outgoing and had a knack for making people feel at ease.

Carol was preceded in death by her brother Elliott Nelson, Roy and Lee Norene whom her parents raised.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Betty Nelson, her devoted husband, Lew Morris, her two children by her first marriage Karla Cullincini and Marten Benatar, her four grandchildren Joseph Fair, Kortney Nicolav, Karissa Harris, Todia Johnson and her five great-grandchildren. Carol was adored by her friends, family and is deeply missed.

A Celebration of Carol's Life will be held at the Rio Oso Community Hall, Sunday, May 4, 2014, Rio Oso Road and 4th Avenue, Rio Oso, CA, from 2-5 pm.

A private graveside service is planned at Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a tax deductible donation to her favorite charity The Center For Reconnecting With Nature, 501c3, aka "CRWN" requested. Carol loved animals. This charity brings youth together with animals through interactions with birds of prey. CRWN PO Box 125, Browns Valley, CA 95918

Public Viewing will be Thursday, May 1, 2014, 4-7 pm. Ullrey's Memorial Chapel, 817 Almond St., Yuba City.
