Charles (Chuck) "Jackson" Henry, Jr



Charles "Chuck" Jackson Henry Jr., 80, of Philadelphia, PA, born November 18, 1932 to Charles Jackson Henry and Lillian A. Gregor passed away February 23, 2013.

He resided in Marysville, CA most of his life. He served in the United States Air Force as a Senior Airman from 1951â€"1955; also serving in the Korean War. Charles received the Korean Service Medal, UN Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal. He was a civilian government journeyman electrician specializing in low voltage interior electricity on Beale Air Force Base. He then transferred to McClellan Air Force Base rewiring electrical generators for aircraft motors; retiring in 1986.

Charles was an active member of the Masons. He loved to listen to music, dance, and have a good time. He was a kind spirit who cared about those around him, generous with his time and monetary gifts, welcoming to all, and loved life. He was also an avid sports fan.

Charles Jackson Henry Jr. is survived by loving wife, Joan Josephine Henry, of 58 years; 7 children: Charles Henry III, Dominic Henry, Antonio Henry, Vincent Henry, Piper Henry, Santee Henry, and Catherine Oliver. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grand children, Allene Hill, Joylett Branson, and a host of loving family and friends.

Services will be conducted Saturday 2 March 2013 at 11 A.M. at Ullrey Memorial Chapel with Reverend Freda Cash officiating. Military honors provided by Beale Air Force Base Honor Guard. Inurnment Private. Arrangements under Ullrey Memorial Chapel.
