Henry F. Cook

Our beloved Hank passed away December 3, 2012 at Golden Acres Home Care in Yuba City, CA.

Born in Marysville, CA on October 15, 1922 to Clyde and Inyce Cook, he was 90 years old.

He is predeceased by his son Gerald Cook and his two brothers Frank & Rodney Cook.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years Uraine, daughter Demetra Kristensen (James), and grandsons Dimitri and Ethan Kristensen (Brittany).

Hank graduated from Marysville High School and was Student Body President. He served in the US Navy Seabees during WWII in Okinawa, Japan. He was a welder on Mare Island when he returned from the war.

He was employed at Pacific Telephone for 38 years, and was President of CWA Local 9429.

After his retirement he worked for Burnip & Sims and Telaid.

Hank was an avid hunter and fisherman, a member of AHEPA, Telephone Pioneers, The Moose and Sons in Retirement.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the Yuba City Moose Family Center, 205 S. Walton, Yuba City, CA at 10:00 am.
