Lauren Rose Pearson

Lauren Rose Pearson
Lauren was born with Gabrielle on December 17, 1990 in Yuba City. She passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2013. She received an AA from Shasta Community College and was currently majoring in accounting at Sacramento State University. The people that she loved said Lauren was easy to get along with, loved animals, music, and a great glass of wine. She always rooted for the underdog. Lauren was a complex free spirit with a sparkle in her eye and an infectious giggle. On her 21st birthday they all went swimming with the sharks in Belize. She looked great in flourishing colored skirts; was intelligent, observant and her personality could fill the room. Just like her middle name, Lauren loved red, pink and white roses. She devoured sushi and udon.

She would want us to know that she had come full circle. Lauren expected the same from others as she did from herself; moreover, she had a rare gift for finding the good in all people with her open and kind spirit. Lauren wrote to Gabby, "Don't let the noise around you shut you out" and to her Mama, who was her moral compass while teaching her how to be extremely resilient, "Mama thank you for not giving up on me."

She will be greatly missed by her mother, Debbie Pearson of Yuba City; twin sister Gabrielle Pearson of New Mexico; brother Logan Pearson of Fort Hood, Texas; Grandma Bea, Uncle Jeff, Aunt Cindy, Tel and Talor of Adin, and many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Jim Pearson.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 5th, at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, 817 Almond Street, Yuba City.

In lieu of flowers, the Pearson family requests that you consider making a donation to the Lauren Rose Pearson Memorial Fund care of Chase Bank, located at 540 Colusa Avenue, Yuba City. The Pearson family plans to direct donations towards programs aimed at helping those dealing with Asperger's Syndrome and related issues. The Pearson family thanks you for your support.
