Nancy Lee Brown, 75, of Yuba City, CA passed away on May 1st, 2014. She was born in Robbins, CA on August 1st, 1938 to her parents Tom and Sadie Still. She was married to the love of her life, Nathaniel Dan Brown, on November 1st, 1969. They enjoyed an amazing 44 years of marriage and great times together.
Nancy was a huge part of the Mothers Club at Central Gather Elementary School. She spent all of her spare time organizing fund raisers and making quilts to help get the school the things they needed. Her last acts as a member of the Mothers Club were to get the school sign and the cement benches that are still being enjoyed by children to this day.
She was survived by her husband, Nathaniel Brown; her son, Dennis Brown and his wife, Kristina; her grandchildren: Jessica Brown, Sadie Brown, Alexice Brown, and Calan Brown; her older brother, Kenneth Still and his wife, Jerry; her older sister, Thelma Martin and her husband, John; numerous other nieces and nephews; and many other long time friends that have become like family over the years.
Preceded in death by her oldest son Tommy Dhillon-Brown.
Funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 6th, 2014. Viewing will be from 9am-Noon at the Chapel of the Twin Cities in Yuba City, CA. The grave side service will be held at 1 O'Clock at the Sutter Cemetery on Third St., Section B. Immediately following the grave side service, there will be a Celebration of Life and potluck gathering at the Moose Lodge on Walton Ave. in Yuba City, CA.
