Sun M. (Albert) Gee
Passed away at home on November 13, 2012, with his devoted, loving wife, Nancy at his side.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Nancy of 67 years, his daughters, Pauline and Diana (Mark) and his son, Byron (Cathy) and his grandchildren, Robert (BJ) and Casey Gee.

Albert, at the age of 97, was preceded in death by his parents, several close cousins, and most recently, his good friend, Evan Rice.

Albert was honored to serve in the US Army in World War II and provided distinguished service to his country, earning several service medals, including 2 Bronze Stars. After the war, he went back to China, married and brought his bride, Nancy, back to Marysville, where they lived and raised their family.

A life-long resident of Marysville, Albert, or Lucky Al, as he was known, worked as the long time maitre-de at the Lotus Inn in Marysville, where he made many friendships.

Albert loved fishing, pai gow, and a good western. Most of all, he loved being in the company of his family. He instilled devotion, responsibility and appreciation of laughter, life and hard work in his children.

Thank you Daddy, for everything. We'll miss you.

Services will be held on Tuesday at 10 am, November 20, 2012 at the Chapel at Sierra View Memorial Park, Hwy. 65 & McGowen Parkway, 4900 Olive Ave., Marysville, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations to Sutter North Hospice is suggested.
