Robert George Cairnes Sr.

75, of Marysville, passed away on October 19, 2010. Robert was born in North Kingston, RI on March 29, 1935 and was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 33 years. Robert was a Special Repair Technician Civil Service at Beale AFB. He served in the USAF during Vietnam and was a retired Technical Sergeant. Robert was a member of many organizations including the Marysville First United Methodist Church, Enterprise Lodge #70 F & A.M., Washington Chapter #13 Capitular Masons, Marysville Council #3 Criptic Masons, Fidelia Chapter #56 Order of Eastern Star, York Rite Allied Masonic Degrees, Central Sacramento Valley Shrine Club, and other local organization, and VFW Post, Camden, New York. Robert is survived by his son, Rick Cairnes; daughter, Deborah Aubuchon; one brother and three sisters, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; son, Robert Jr.; and two sisters. Visitation will be Monday, October 25, 2010 at Ullrey Memorial Chapel, Yuba City form 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Services will be conducted at the chapel on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Arthur Catterall and Enterprise Lodge #70 F & A.M., Officiating. Burial will follow at Sierra View Memorial Park with Full Military Honors by Beale AFB, Honor Guard. Arrangement are under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel.
