Alfonso Duenas Obituary

Alfonso, 79, of Live Oak, CA, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on June 10, 2015. Born in Atenguillo, Jalisco Mexico on May 20, 1936, he legally migrated to the U.S. in 1958. Alfonso worked for Sunset Moulding Company for 27 years and retired from there in 1998.

He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Magdalena Duenas; his children Ricardo Duenas, Ana Rosa Campos, Silvia Greminger, Hector Duenas; daughter-in-law Lunden Duenas; son-in-law Scott Greminger; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Alfonso enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren; Vanessa Duenas, Ashley Campos, Aarika Campos, Jordan Greminger, Haley Duenas, Justin Greminger, Nicholas Duenas, Jovani Duenas, Natalie Duenas, Chloe Duenas and his great granddaughter Allie De La Torre. Alfonso was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Yuba City for over 30 years and loved serving the Lord.

A viewing will be held on June 15, 2015 between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm at the Chapel of the Twin Cities located at 715 Shasta St., Yuba City.

Services will be held on June 16, 2015 at 10:00 am at the United Pentecostal Church located at 2649 E. Onstott Frontage Rd., Yuba City.

Burial service will follow at the Live Oak Cemetery. A celebration of life gathering will be held at the Live Oak Community Center located at 10200 "O" St., Live Oak immediately after the burial service.
