Alice Marfin Kimber died peacefully at Rideout Hospital on December 18. She was 91 years old and a resident of The Courtyard Assisted Living in Yuba City.|
Alice was the oldest of five siblings, born in Laredo, Texas and raised in San Antonio. She was married for 58 years to the love of her life, Richard Kimber. They had three children, Steve of Oxnard, Ca, Mark of Del Rey Oaks, Ca., and Christy Kettmann of Yuba City, Ca.
Alice had a very interesting life living with her husband and raising their three children on several continents. After living in Egypt, Greece, Ethiopia and France, Alice and her family moved back to Pebble Beach, Ca. where she and her husband built a successful travel business in Salinas and continued to travel extensively. After retiring, Alice and her husband moved to Northern California to be near their daughter and grandchildren.
She is survived by her three children, their spouses, seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Private services will be arranged by Ullrey Memorial Chapel.
