November 15, 1919 - May 22, 2014

Alma Lorenzetti Allison, loving mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2014.

Alma is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anacleto Lorenzetti, and sisters: Faustina Lorenzetti, Lelia Alonso and Lea Lovoi.

Alma is survived by her daughter, Diane Barney, son-in-law, Edson J. Barney, Jr.; grandchildren: Todd, Amy and Brad Barney, Allison and Michael Hickinbotham, and great grandchildren: Jackson Barney and Kate Hickinbotham; her loving sister, Julia Cardoza, brother-in-law, Manuel Cardoza; and many adored nieces and newphews.

A long-time resident of Sutter County, Alma Allison was born November 15, 1919 in Yuba City, California, and lived her life-time in the Live Oak/Yuba City area. In 1938 Alma graduated from Notre Dame High School in Marysville, California. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church, and active in the Italian Catholic Federation. Alma was a proud employee of Fremont Hospital for 18 years. The greatest legacy Alma has left us is the love, support and care she shared generously with her daughter, grandchildren, family and friends.

The family would like to thank The Fountains and staff for the long-term care Alma received for many years. memorial donations, in Alma's name, may be made to The Fountains, 1260 Williams Way, Yuba City, California 95991.

Visitation will start at 5:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Ullrey Memorial Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Isidores Catholic Church, with Fr. Miguel Silva officiating. Burial will follow at Sierra View Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel.
