Andrew Lester Buelna

July 2, 1953 to October 8, 2010. Andy went peacefully to be with the Lord on October 8, 2010. He died as the result of an illness received in Vietnam. He is survived by his wife, Alicia, of 33 years, and children Andrew Charles (wife Kimberly), and Eli. Grandchildren: Summer Rose and Andrew Thomas. He is also survived by parents Anne and Andy Buelna, sister Elizabeth, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a husband, father, grandfather, son and brother, a Vietnam Veteran serving in the Navy. He served on the Foothill Volunteer Fire Department for 30 years as an EMT, and achieved the rank of captain. He worked and consulted in mining, mining safety, was an artist, accomplished outdoorsman, environmentalist, & humanitarian.
