I wiil always cherish the time you and I went to Fresno to look at housing for me and my family. especially when we went to a fire station to ask for directions. they did not know where we were looking for. so we drove some more to find out that it was about two blocks away. they were county, we were looking for a city address. That is the way it was in Fresno in 1971, backwoods

I have a million memories of Nana, so I thought I would share my favorite.

I had just gotten home from school, when Nana walked in and told me we needed to leave NOW! So I hopped in the car. A little store was having a sale on bicycle shorts. All shorts were 2 dollars. She told me to go hog wild. I must have gotten 20 pairs of shorts. We tried them and and modeled and decided which ones were cute. And I left with every single pair of shorts that I wanted.

The point of this memory is not that she bought me a bunch of stuff. The point is that she was out, doing her errands and saw something that she knew I would want to be a part of. She dropped everything to come get me. She was just thoughtful like that. Plus, she could never pass up a good sale.:-)

Nana, Heaven must be awesome, because you haven't been haunting us nearly as much as I thought you would- LOL. I love you and miss, Nana, but I'm glad to know you're happy now.

I will always remember nana everytime we had our family get togethers and she would always "rescue" us kids from papa and his tickling us half to death. Even though I was unable to see you for many years after my own father passed, i will remember you for always accepting my brothers and sisters as your babies as well.. may the Lord keep you in His loving awesome beauty.

Dear Auntie,
I so remember coming to your house in Milpitas, everyone sitting around the kitchen table with coffee and cigarettes.Lots of laughs and conversation about the family. Uncle working on some car in the driveway. Such a warm and welcoming place to be. I will miss you but I know you are with my Dad and Sister watching over us.
I Love you! Lisa

Our family was blessed to have known the McGill family. As fate would have it, we were guided into your lives when we found and purchased the McGill family home in Milpitas. It began twenty-nine years of memories with Jackie, Faustina, Beverly and Penny that still continue to this day. You always made us feel like family. Our sympathy goes out to Antoinette's whole family. We know how deeply she is missed. All our prayers and love are with you all. Love, Judi and Frank Green and our whole family...God bless you all.

One of the greatest gifts my mother gave me was being born into a family where you always kissed hello and goodbye. A family with memories I will carry on and share with my children and grandchildren, in hopes they can imagine the joy I had as a child with 20 Aunts and Uncles, and numerous cousins, along with 3 sisters. I MISS MY MAMA AND WILL ALWAYS LOVE HER MORE!~~~YOUR BABY, Penny Lee
