Archie Boone Obituary

Archie Boone, formerly of Yuba City and Live Oak, died recently following complications related to Parkinson's Disease. He died in Edmonds, WA, where he lived near his son, he was 78. Archie grew up in Live Oak. He graduated from Live Oak High in the class of '51. Archie then served in the Navy during the Korean War. He worked for 33 years for Pacific Bell and retired in 1990. He lived in Yuba City many of those years and was involved in the community. He retired in Chico where he lived until 2007 when he was diagnosed with Parkinson's. Archie is survived by his only son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Denise Boone, and two grand-children, Megan and Jonathan, of Lynnwood, WA. He is also survived by his brother, Gene Boone, and sisters Darlene Davis, Janice Garrett, and Sara Lind. At his request, Archie's ashes were scattered under the Golden Gate Bridge. Please accept the heartfelt sympathy of the Jarvis family, including from my mom and dad. Your dad was such a kind man and a tremendous father. I will always have such wonderful memories of the times that we spent together growing up, and your dad was such a big part of many of those activities we did together.
