Ardythe Price Obituary

Ardythe B. Price 1948 - 2010 Ardythe Price, born Ardythe Bernadeane Sherill Tym, embraced life as an adventure to be lived with the fullest of joy. Ardythe was born in 1948 in Two Hill, Albert, Canada to Doris Eunice Pashniack and Peter Cecil Tym. Ardythe was soon followed by Sharon in 1950 and the twins, Bonnie and Bema in 1954. All four sisters continued to remain close friends throughout their lives and all received their nursing degrees. Ardythe graduated from Walla Walla Academy in 1965. She received a Bachelor in Science from Pacific Union College in 1972 and a Bachelor in Arts from Loma Linda University in 1973. Ardythe became a registered nurse in 1972 and enjoyed a successful career in nursing. She especially enjoyed holding the babies in the delivery unit. On February 14, 1973, Ardythe married John Price in Modesto, California with a Valentine's Day red and pink theme. A little over a year later, Ardythe and John welcomed into the world their daughter, Shelley Jean Price, in March with Steven John Price not soon behind in 1976. Ardythe delighted in motherhood and treasured her family. She took many pictures and established a beautiful and welcoming home. Ardythe organized festive birthday parties, regular family outings to local parks and beaches and miniature golf courses, and road trips to Canada. The family also enjoyed annual trips to Camp Meeting in Soquel, California. Ardythe loved to travel and explore the world. From her explorations of Switzerland and the rest of Europe in her youth, to Caribbean cruises in her twenties and thirties to her tours of Central America in later years, Ardythe reveled in new exciting activities. Her bright, distinctive laugh illuminated her journeys. Ardythe's spirituality was central in her life experiences. She taught Sabbath School during the several years that she raised her family in San Jose, sand remained extremely active at the Yuba City Seventh-day Adventist Church. Ardythe often spoke fondly and excitedly about her many friends at this church, and enjoyed all of the social activities. She felt close with God throughout her life and remained faithful that her entire family would someday be reunited in Heaven. Send Condolences to www.appealdemocrat.com
