Arvie "Red" Mullins Obituary

Arvie "Red" Mullins, 90, passed away January 5, 2018, at Rideout Memorial Hospital in Marysville, CA. He was born in Seminole, Oklahoma and moved to California at the age of 10. He served in the Navy during WW2 on the U.S.S. Elkhorn and retired from Beale Air Force Base as a Civil Service Foreman. He was a member of Reno Lodge No. 13 Free and Accepted Masons; Hermann Son Lodge, Nicholas; Butte Model A Club, and Yuba City Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Florence "Bebe" Mullins; daughters, Meredith Rogers and Gail Hardison; stepchildren, Elisabeth Dress, James Herota, and Frederick Herota; and many other family members and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Ruby Mullins, a brother, sister and first wife, Evelyn Mullins.

Red's adventurous spirit and love of people led him through life, offering his loyalty and care to all. Ultimately, he fulfilled his dream of a country life with many family, friends, dogs, horses, goats, birds and a bountiful garden. Working hard, playing hard, laughing with family and friends filled his days, but most of all "his Bebe" brightened each day with love. He will be missed by all.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Sutter Cemetery, 7200 Butte Ave., Sutter, CA, 95982.
