Barbara Marie Myers Obituary
Barbara Marie Myers 78, passed away on February 8, 2014 at Remolona Family Guest Home in Manteca, CA. She was born on August 15, 1935 in Arbuckle, CA, to Fred and Nettie (Kraft) Kleeman.

Barbara grew up in Arbuckle and graduated from Pierce Joint High School in 1953. After high school she was a wife, mother and homemaker and also worked as a secretary for the State of Nevada in Carson City, NV and Fife Insurance and Continental Athletic Supply in Gridley, CA.

Barbara married Richard "Dick" Martin Myers in 1954 in Carson City, NV. They were happily married for 59 years.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Ralph James Kleeman and Walter Henry Kleeman.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Dick, of Tracy, CA; her son, Kenneth Richard Myers of Sacramento, CA and daughter, Laurie Diane Ellis of Tracy, CA; her sister Carolyn (Robert) Uhland of Roseville, CA; her grandchildren Gavin Richard Ellis, Chad Charles Ellis, Chelsey Marie Elizabeth Ellis, Jillian Elizabeth Myers (Jeremy Phelps), Colin Richard Myers, and Neil Addison Thomas Myers; her great-grandchildren Dahlia Grace Ellis, Nolin Jeremy Phelps, and Lillea Elizabeth Phelps; and her nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to so many. Barbara loved her family and planned her life around family events and get-togethers. She loved to sew, play tennis and she was a remarkable ping pong player. Her priority was to spend time with her family. She loved the Sacramento Solons and San Francisco Giants and always looked forward to baseball season. She was an amazing person who cared about

everyone. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.

A Celebration of her Life will be held on March 1, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Arbuckle United Methodist Church, 600 Pendleton St., Arbuckle, CA. A private interment will follow at Arbuckle Cemetery.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to her doctors and to the wonderful staff at Remolona Family Guest Home, who became part of our family.
