Brenda Gale Yetter Obituary

Brenda Gale Yetter passed from this life in Midwest City on June 12, 2017 with family by her side at the age of 65. Brenda was born on September 30, 1951 in Amarillo, Texas to Stansel Dale Massey and Dorsey Lea (Allen) Massey. She attended Altus middle school and while her father was in the service they lived in Germany where she continued her studies and when returning received her GED from Altus. She moved to the Yuba Sutter area in California in 1969 and was there until her move to Lone Wolf in 1991. She began working for the Altus Air Force Base, in Civil Service, in 1995 and retired in September of 2016. Brenda's hobbies include visiting all of the local thrift stores, attending the Warren Senior community center on Tuesday night and spending time with her family and friends.

Brenda is survived by sons Calvin Yetter and wife Terry of Yuba City, CA and Harold Yetter and wife Deana of Burkburnett, Texas; daughter April Smith and husband John of Mangum; one sister Linda Johnson and husband Robert of Round Rock, Texas; cousins Donna Smith and Connie Ross of Altus, OK. Brenda leaves a legacy of nine grandchildren: Ashley, Aaron and wife Beth, Zackre and wife Stefanie, Zachary, Sadie, Matthew, Jaydon, Felicity and Jessie and one great-granddaughter Jesslie and a host of other relatives and friends. Brenda was preceded in death by her husband Edward Yetter; dad Stansel Dale Massey and mom Dorsey Lea Swafford; brother Carl Berg and wife Lynelle and her grandparents William "Bill" and Oma Allen.

Services for Brenda are scheduled for Saturday, June 17, 2017, 10:00 A.M. at People's Cooperative Funeral Home Chapel in Lone Wolf with interment following at Lone Wolf Cemetery.

Viewing will begin, Friday, June 16, 2017, 1:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M,, at People's Cooperative Funeral Home, located at 1400 West Main, Lone Wolf, 580-846-9018.
