Brett Carl Danby, 61, of Yuba City, CA, passed away on August 25, 2017, at Sutter Medical Center in Sacramento, CA. He was born on June 22, 1956, in Pasadena, CA, to Romer Carl and Patricia Jean Danby. He is a graduate of Jesuit High School of Carmichael, CA, and holds a Master's Degree in Information Technology.

Brett is survived by his loving wife Lori Janine of thirty-two years. They were married in Carmichael, CA, on August 3, 1985.

He is also survived by his two children, Cynthia Janae and Brian Christopher, and his wife Sarah. He has two grandchildren; Brielle Capri and Brydon Carson, with a third grandchild due in November. Brett is also survived by three brothers; Bart Christopher and wife Kari, Timothy Fredrick and wife Toom, and Craig Patrick and wife Victoria, two cousins; Kathleen McKenna and John Bennet, his Aunt Melinda Bennet, and many nieces and nephews. Brett's humor and love for life will be dearly missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.

For the past seven years, Brett had been working in Iraq as a Network Administrator. Although he spent most of his computer networking career away from home, he was a devoted father and enjoyed spending time with his kids boating, camping, watching the 49ers, and playing hockey with the neighbors. As his kids got older, he became an avid cheerleader for their success in education, careers, and life. During his time overseas, he enjoyed coaching spin-classes on base and traveling to nearby Middle Eastern and European countries.

Brett is preceded in death by his parents; Romer Carl Danby and Patricia Jean Danby.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017, at 1520 Terminal Street, West Sacramento, 95691, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
