Chester Charles Stineman Obituary

Chester Charles Stineman of Wheatland, slipped away peacefully Saturday, May 11, 2013.

Chester, a lifelong resident of Wheatland, was born on November 18, 1943, to Chester and Helen (Hudson) Stineman. He farmed first with his father then on his own, raising crops, and seeing his hard work pay off at harvest time was a driving force in his life. He actively supported many local charities and loved a good auction.

Chet was a member of Nicholas Lodge F&AM for over 40 years and had recently served as an advisory board member for the Maryville Assembly of the International Order of Rainbow for Girls. He was a member of the Wheatland Community Church.

Chester is survived by his mother Helen, wife, Leslie (Ballew), daughters Renee (Ken) Stineman, Rachel (Roger) Haynes, Sara (Chris) Park, son Mathew (Kristina) Stineman, brothers John (Marilyn) and Bob Stineman and sister Jane (Richard) Paskowitz, grand children Jacob, Mitchell, and Lucas Haynes, Chase, Abby and Brayden Stineman, Lindsey Schulhof, Teal, Cabela and Tule Park and many nephews, nieces and extended family and friends.

Family and friends will celebrate Chet's life at the Bishop's Pumpkin Farm on Sat., May 18, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. Donations in Chet's honor can be made to Shriners' Hospitals for Children 1-800-241-4438 or your favorite church or charity. Arrangements are under the direction of Lipp and Sullivan Funeral Directors, (530) 742-2473.
