Cleo Apodaca-Dominguez Obituary

Cleo passed away from dementia Thursday morning on June 4, 2015 at Oak River Hospital at the age of 76. She was born January 8, 1939 in Denver, CO to her parents Julia and Ernest Apodaca. She was preceded in death by her sisters Judy Moffit, Sally Martinez, Mary Lopez and brother Charles Apodaca.

Cleo suffered from dementia for about 10 years. Through her illness, she chose to spend most of her time with her cherished family. She was happiest when spending most of her days with her ex-husband, Henry Dominguez, who took great care of her on a daily basis. She was a hard worker all of her life working mostly in customer service.

She leaves behind her daughters Laura (& husband Jeff Grossman) from Elk Grove and Julie (& husband Paul Reuter) from Redding. She also leaves ex-husband Henry Dominguez from Redding; granddaughters Julie Grossman from Elk Grove, Erin (& husband Javier Juarez) from Lodi; grandsons Cameron and Zachary Reuter from Redding; great-grandchildren Nicolas, Henry, Benny, Kayden, and Kiana; sisters Rosanna Apodaca, Nancy Erickson, and Julie Apodaca all from Yuba City, Shirli Apodaca-Evans from Arkansas; brothers Ernie (& wife Vicki Apodaca) from Live Oak and Jerry (& wife Lucy Apodaca) from Lodi.

Cleo's warm heart, sense of humor and love will be greatly missed by all. Memorial services will be held at Allen and Dahl Funeral Home located at 2655 Eureka Way, Redding, CA on Monday, June 8, 2015. Viewing will start at 12:00pm and services will be at 1:00pm. Final resting place will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
