Cynthia "Cindy" (Harmon) Sayre Obituary

Cindy, a loved wife, mother, teacher, daughter, sister, and friend was called home to be with her Lord Jesus on Wednesday evening, January 10, 2018. She was born August 3, 1959 in Yuba City, CA.

Cindy graduated from High School in Marysville, CA and her home church was Emmanuel Faith Tabernacle. She attended international Bible College in San Antonio, TX from 1977 to 1980. Following graduation, Cindy began teaching at King's Academy. On March 3, l984 she married the principal of the school (Bob Sayre). They continued to live in San Antonio and had 3 children: Christi Grace, Bobby Ace, and Ethan Allen.

Cindy was always a faithful member of Destiny Church. In 2004 the church sent the Sayre family to China to do charity work. An orphanage was opened in 2005 in Xuzhou City and blessed 48 children over the next 12 years of Cindy's life.

Cindy was a woman with the gift of hospitality, she was always the life of any party. She wanted guests in her home and enjoyed cooking big meals. Cindy loved her three children and always put them first. One of her favorite things to do was baking cookies with the grandchildren.

Cindy Sayre is survived by her husband Bob of 34 years, her father Martin A. Harmon, her brothers Chris, Martin Aaron, and Matt, her sisters Shyrel, Vicky, Susan, Pam, Martine, and Deidre, 1 daughter: Christi, 2 sons: Bobby and Ethan; and 8 grandchildren: Noah, Bennett, Abigail, Hannah, Elisabeth, Esther, Annabelle, and Robert. She was preceded in death by her mother Barbara and her sister Erica.

Services will be held January 17, 2018 at 10:00 am at Rock of Roseville, 725 Vernon St., Roseville.
