I have many fond memories of my Uncle Ed. But some of my fondest came in recent years. I would listen to stories of my dad, Uncle Howard, and him when they were children. His smile and laughter as he would tell the stories were priceless. The most recent came on Thanksgiving. As I was about to leave the hospital I hugged him and kissed him on his forehead, telling him I loved him. Uncle Ed replied "I love you too Johnny, you're a good boy". That meant/means the world to me! To my family: May the Lord fill your broken hearts with comfort and peace! I love you all!

One hell of a nice guy. I will have a hard time finding A friend like he was to me. I enjoyed knowing him.
