Darlene, 84, of Marysville, passed away June 2, 2012 at UC Davis Medical Center. She was born Oct. 15, 1927 in Topeka, KS.
She worked for the Appeal-Democrat for 45 years as an independent delivery contractor.
Darlene was a sweet and loving mother and grandmother, devoted to her family. She was never seen without her constant companion "Kiki", her dog. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Darlene is survived by her son Larry Lowery of Marysville, granddaughters; Erin Lawler and Alyssa (Eric) Rudel of Modesto, and Jordynn (Kory) Johnson of Mountain Home, ID. She had 7 great-grandchildren.
Services will be private.
