Debra Patricia Bryant Obituary

Debra Patricia Bryant was born in Yuba City, California to Robert and Katherine Bryant on November 8th, 1952. She left this world January 9th surrounded by her family. Debbie was a 4th generation of Sutter County.

She attended Yuba City schools and was a graduate of Yuba City High School. She was an accomplished rider and was very successful in the horse show circuit. After graduating high school she attended the University of Nevada where she majored in fun. Debbie continued to show horses on Lady Buzz and Choctaw Breeze and won many awards in the working cow horse class and western pleasure, including Grand National Champion at the Cow Palace, under the instruction of Bobby Ingersoll.

She was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority, Omega Chapter Alpha Sigma and Literary Guild and was active in local causes. Debbie was a past president of the Sutter Buttes Garden Club where she shared her love of nature with all.

She shared her knowledge and love of horses with her many riding students over the years. Debbie was also very instrumental within the Able Riders Therapeutic Horseback Riding program, helping children with special needs.

Debbie was a blithe spirit. She touched everyone she met and was loved by many. She will be remembered for her contagious laugh and her love of life.

She is survived by her parents Bob and Katie, her brothers Craig Bryant and Tom Bryant and her sister Kathleen Bryant Carlson, along with her niece and nephews, family members and friends. She wished them all "love and light".
