Del Fullmer Obituary

On October 5th, 2017, a loving and much loved, multi-talented man, Del Fullmer, passed away. Del was born October 28, 1927, in Colusa, California, to Maude and Bert Fullmer. He graduated from Colusa High School and San Jose State College. Del worked as a real estate agent/broker and a general contractor in Sacramento, serving as president of the General Contractors Association in 1967-68. After his retirement, he devoted many volunteer hours to maintaining the Colusa High Vintage Picnic for all alumni of the school who graduated 50 years ago or more. He was also active in keeping both his Theta Chi brothers and Wesley friends from First Methodist in Sacramento socializing. Music took much of his time. He received his degree in music, with clarinet as his instrument. He continued his interest in music by playing and singing in ensembles around town. He also loved playing bridge and was an interesting bidder as can be attested to by anyone who was his partner. Once you were in Del's life you were a friend forever. He loved family gatherings and was the life of any party. Del leaves behind his loving family: wife, Sue, sister, Wanda Mills, daughter, Viki Griner, son Bradley Fullmer, an extended family of stepchildren, grand and great-grandkids, niece, cousins, in-laws and a multitude of friends.

Family and friends are invited to A Celebration of Del Fullmer's Life, December 30, 2017, 1 PM, at Howe Community Center Hall, 2201 Cottage Way, Sacramento, CA 95825.
