Dillian Irene Blankenship Obituary

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother passed into the presence of our Lord and savior on November 3, 2015. Born on July 10, 1916 in Caddo County, Oklahoma. She was a Sutter County resident for 68 years. Born Dillian Irene Blackburn, she married Aubrey Lawrence Blankenship on August 31, 1934. Aubrey and Dillian lived for many years south of Yuba City farming walnuts. They were married for 77 years until his passing in 2012. They raised three children Avery Blankenship (Gillian), Beverly Foss both of Yuba City and David Blankenship (Judith Rae) of Spokane Washington.

In addition to being a loyal and faithful member of Calvary Chapel in Yuba City, she participated in many activities including the "quilting ladies" group. She was instrumental in starting Bible Study Fellowship in Yuba City. As a homemaker she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and reading. From her plentiful garden, she canned and shared with everyone. She was always loving and giving to all.

In addition to her children, "Momo Too" as she is known to all the grandchildren, is survived by eight grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and two great-great- grandsons.

Graveside services are being held Friday, November 6, 2015, 1pm at Sierra View Memorial Park.
