Donald LeRoy Lundberg, 85 of Live Oak passed away May 20, 2013. He was a lifelong resident of the Yuba- Sutter area.
Donald was born May 9, 1928 in Grand Junction, CO. His family moved to Live Oak in 1930 and settled on a farm on Paseo Rd next to Sunset Moulding, which led to his career in the industry, which lasted 56 years.
Don was a veteran of the United States Navy, he served aboard the U.S.S. Mt. McKinley. A WWII amphibious command ship.
Donald is survived by Noreen & Frank Atkins (daughter & son-in- law) Yuba City; Stefanie Kailihiwa (granddaughter) Live Oak; Riley Kailihiwa (great-grandson); Leo & Margaret Lundberg (nephew) Laverne, CA; & Brenda LeBlanc (niece) & Drew (her son).
Donald was preceded by Lewis & Ethel Lundberg (mother & father), Ed Lundberg (brother) & Jan Lundberg (loving wife of 63 years).
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Vincent officiating.
