Donna Leigh Michel, 53, beloved mother and grandma passed away peacefully in her home in Marysville California surrounded by friends and family on April 14, 2013, after a short battle with Cancer.|
Donna was born in San Luis Obispo County of California where she lived until she was 16. She then moved too Humboldt County for two years where she met the father of her children Victor A. Michel and moved to Yuba County for the remainder of her time.
Donna was a beloved mother and homemaker for fifteen years, a TA for New Life Christian School for three years in the early 90s. A route carrier for Twin City News for twelve years from 1998- 2010, he also worked the Humboldt County Fair in 2011 and 2012.
Survivors include Son Brandon Deo of Canal Winchester OH Daughter in-law Elvira Deo of Canal Winchester OH, Daughters J.C. Michel of Sacramento CA, and Catherine Katie Michel of Marysville CA. Grandsons Anthony, Freddy, and J.J. Mother JoAnn Butler of Kona HA, Mother-in- law Charlotte Michel of Ferndale CA, Sisters Carroll Deo of Kona HA, and Marlene Allred of WA, Brother John Butler Jr. of HA.
Proceeded in death by her Nana Thompson, Uncle Mike Deo, Grandma Pauline Deo, Father Fredrick C. Deo, and Father-in-law John A. Michel.
There will be a private celebration of life ceremony for friends and family planned for the near future.
