Frank Leon Jr., 79, of Live Oak, California, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 31, 2017, at the Bay Area Hospital in Coos Bay, Oregon. Frank was born in Gridley, California, on May 31, 1938, to Frank and Sally Leon. Frank lived most of his life in Live Oak, California.

Frank was a passionate man who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. He worked for the Butte Water District until he retired, then moved to North Bend, Oregon, with his wife, Sylvia.

Frank was extremely loving and proud of all his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He had four children with wife, Beverly Benton-Hance, their oldest, Frank Leon of Shelton, WA, and his children; Francesca, Trisha, Frankie, and Anthony. Frank's daughter, Jenilee Leon-Thiederman, her husband, Rick Thiederman and their daughters; Andrea and Stephanie Thiederman of Federal Way, WA Frank's son, Monte Leon, and his wife, Leslie Leon of Benton City, WA and their children; Blake and Aubriella Leon. Frank's daughter, Ginger Leon-Oles, her husband, Robert Oles of Buckely, WA, and their children; Isabella, Steven, and Bobby. That marriage dissolved and then on August 1979, Frank Leon married Sylvia, the love of his life. Frank was a father figure to her children and their grandchildren, whom he loved and adored. Dale Harvey of Marysville, and his children; Heather, Amber, and Jessy, Georgene and Gary Worden of Emmett, Idaho, Nikki Gerbic and her sons; Shawn and Ryan Harvey, Virgil and Sharon Harvey of Oregon and their sons; Jimmy, Johnny and Joey.

Survived in Frank's family is his sister, Rose Hulen of Oroville, Californina, her daughter, Donna Wingo and her husband, Steve and daughters; Brie and Dana. Frank's brother, Mike Martinez, and wife, Nancy of Marysville, Californina, and son, Mark Martinez.

Frank and Sylvia retired to the North Bend area in Oregon where they enjoyed fishing, boating, and gardening. His wife, Sylvia, passed away on September 10, 2004. Frank then spent time with his family and later returned to the North Bend area, where he passed away on December 31, 2017.

Celebration of Frank's life will be held at The Father's House in Live Oak, California, on January 20, 2018, at 11am.
