Fred Warren Evans

Fred Warren Evans 85, of Olivehurst passed away November 9, 2010. A Yuba-Sutter resident for 45 years. Fred was born in Sand Springs, Oklahoma on January 15, 1925. Fred served in the U.S. Army and was a Veteran of World War II and a Prisoner of War. He was a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars - Olivehurst. Fred was a Greyhound Bus Driver for 27 years. He is survived by his wife, Barbara A. Evans of Olivehurst, CA; son, Tim W. Evans of Olivehurst, CA; daughters: Gayle Evans of Olivehurst, CA and Lisa Nielsen of Yuba City, CA; brother, C.R. Evans of San Springs, OK; sister, Evelyn Reese of Sand Springs, OK; grandchildren: Aaron Evans, Evan Nielsen, & Tyler Nielsen. Graveside Services will be held 1:00 pm on Monday, November 15, 2010 at Sierra View Memorial Park, Olivehurst with Reverend Jim Davis of the Church of the Nazarene Yuba City Officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday at Lipp and Sullivan Chapel. Burial will be at Sierra View Memorial Park Olivehurst, CA with Military Honors.
