Fred Wayne Williams, 64, of Marysville, passed away peacefully with family by his side on January 10, 2013. He was a lifelong resident of Marysville. Born December 9, 1948. He was employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator with Nordic Industries.
Fred loved his family and friends above everything in life. Together Fred and Judy raised four children. Fred was always the one you could come to for help, love and reassurance. He enjoyed life to the fullest. Fred loved hunting, camping, four-wheeling, quad riding and anything else that had to do with being outdoors having a good time with family and friends. He loved to go out scrapping.
Fred left behind his loving wife of 27 years, Judy Williams; his son Vince Williams of Loma Rica, his daughter Jeannie and her husband Tom Stroing of Red Bluff, his son Rodney and his wife Shelly Williams of New South Wales, Australia, and his son Mike and his wife Shannon Yancy of Yuba City. Fred and Judy were also blessed with twelve grandchildren and one great- grandchild. Fred is also survived by two sisters, Eloise Spangler of PA and Loraine Scribner of Oregon and two brothers, Ben Williams Jr. of Browns Valley and Perry Williams of Marysville. Fred also leaves behind many, many nieces and nephews that loved and respected him greatly.
Fred was preceded in death by an infant son, Curtis Williams and a young wife, Dolly Williams; his parents, Ben and Martha Williams; four sisters: Ida Payne, Susie Woods, Delores Wilkie and Nellie Williams; two brothers: Floyd Shelton and Larry Williams.
A memorial service will be held at Grace Baptist Church at 1980 South Walton Avenue in Yuba City at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 19, 2013. The family will be greeting friends and family following the memorial with a potluck at the Farm to celebrate Fred's life and love.
